🚀 Proposed for Longmont, Colorado

THE
LANDING PAD

Land. Vibe. Elevate.
A proposed 21+ cannabis hospitality lounge, social space and event venue designed to give adults a controlled, professionally managed place to gather around legal cannabis.

Not another dispensary.

A destination built around responsible cannabis hospitality.

What is The Landing Pad?

Think cannabis lounge + social club + entertainment venue + community event space. The goal is to create a place where adults 21+ can gather, attend events, learn, relax and socialize in a setting designed specifically for cannabis hospitality.

🛋️

Social Lounge

A comfortable, controlled environment for adult cannabis consumers to socialize instead of relying on unauthorized public spaces.

🎧

Entertainment

DJ nights, comedy, karaoke, game nights, themed parties, live entertainment and other 21+ experiences.

🌿

Cannabis Culture

Brand education, industry events, grower spotlights, product education and responsible-use conversations.

Why Longmont?

Longmont already has legal cannabis businesses and adult consumers. What it does not currently have is a hospitality environment designed around what happens after a legal purchase.

Legal cannabis already exists. Consumption already exists. The question is whether Longmont can create a safer, controlled and accountable place for it to happen.

We Hear Longmont’s Concerns.

The Landing Pad is not asking the city to ignore the risks. The concept is being built around the questions Longmont has raised.

🚗

Impaired Driving

Concern: Could cannabis hospitality increase impaired driving?

  • Rideshare and designated-driver promotion
  • Planned pickup and drop-off areas
  • Staff and security observation
  • Intervention procedures for visibly impaired guests
  • Safe-ride education before departure
💨

Secondhand Smoke & Odor

Concern: How will employees, guests and neighbors be protected?

  • Professionally engineered ventilation
  • Air filtration and odor-control systems
  • Controlled indoor consumption areas
  • No outdoor cannabis consumption
  • Neighborhood-impact procedures
🧠

Measuring Impairment

Concern: Cannabis does not have a simple alcohol-style impairment test.

The safety model would rely on trained observation, responsible-use education, staff intervention, security procedures and transportation options rather than pretending one test can solve the problem.

👮

Security & Public Safety

  • 21+ only
  • ID verification
  • Controlled entry and re-entry
  • Security personnel
  • Camera coverage
  • Guest rules and incident procedures
🏘️

Neighborhood Impact

  • Noise planning
  • Odor management
  • Parking and rideshare planning
  • Waste procedures
  • Guest behavior expectations
  • Clear complaint contact process
⚖️

Accountability

A licensed hospitality environment creates something informal consumption spaces do not: rules, trained staff, security, oversight and a business that can be held accountable for how it operates.

September Launch Event 🚀

We’re introducing The Landing Pad to the community with a September launch event featuring cannabis brands, local vendors, food, music and a first look at the vision behind the project.

LICENSE STILL PENDING

This is a launch event — not the opening of the consumption lounge.

The Landing Pad’s cannabis hospitality license is still pending with the City of Longmont. Until all required approvals are in place, the September event will be a non-consumption event. No on-site cannabis consumption will be permitted.

The purpose of the event is to introduce the concept, bring the community together, hear concerns and feedback, connect with local businesses and cannabis brands, and show Longmont what responsible cannabis hospitality could look like.

🌮

Food & Local Vendors

Food trucks and participating local businesses can be part of the first Landing Pad community event.

🌿

Cannabis Industry

Cannabis-related brands and partners can participate, educate and connect with guests without on-site consumption.

🗣️

Community Feedback

Guests can learn about the proposal, review Longmont’s concerns and share what they would want from a responsible hospitality model.

More Than a Lounge.

Events are a major part of The Landing Pad vision. Some events can also be held without cannabis consumption, giving the community a chance to experience the space and learn about the concept.
